H-32 borosilicate glass
Glass we make ourselves, in Japan.
Our borosilicate glass is melted at the HARIO group’s own plant in Japan. We call it H‑32. Its thermal expansion is α = 32 × 10−7/K.
From this glass we supply laboratory glassware, tubing, and custom parts for OEM customers.
We also supply glass fiber filter tape for ambient air monitoring, under our own brand.
What we supply
What we supply
One is the glass itself — labware, tubing and custom shapes, made from the material our group melts.
The other is a consumable that keeps air monitoring stations running.

The glass is made inside the group, not bought outside
- OWN MATERIAL
- The glass is melted and drawn at the group’s own plant in Japan. The composition and the dimensions are controlled inside the group, not bought from an outside supplier.
- This is why we can supply the same part, to the same specification, for many years.
- FORMING
- We form glass by machine blowing, hand blowing, hand pressing and tube drawing.
- Send us a drawing. If you have no drawing, tell us what the part must do.
- SUPPLY
- We ship repeat orders on a schedule. We already ship to customers in Asia.
- We can issue inspection certificates, SDS and shipping documents in English.
Tell us what you need to source
Send us your specification. We will reply with a clear answer on three points: whether we can make it, at what volume, and how long it takes.
