Borosilicate glass since 1921

Glass we make ourselves, in Japan.

HARIO Science operates the only plant in Japan producing H‑32 borosilicate glass (thermal expansion α = 32 × 10−7/K) at volume. We supply laboratory glassware, glass fiber filter tape for ambient air monitoring, and custom glass forming and joining for OEM customers — from the material up.

Why HARIO Science

We start one step further back than most suppliers

1921Glassmaking began. Borosilicate glass has been our only material since.
α=32H-32 borosilicate, ×10−7/K — melted at our own plant in Japan.
147Laboratory glassware variants across 18 product families.
4Filter tape codes covering both cycles and both strength grades.
OWN MATERIAL
We melt and draw our own H‑32 borosilicate tubing. Composition, dimensional consistency and supply continuity are controlled in-house rather than bought in — which is what makes long-running OEM programs practical.
FORMING
Tube joining, sealing, drawing and forming for custom vessels. If you have a drawing, or only a functional requirement, we can work from either.
SUPPLY
Repeat, scheduled supply for consumables and OEM parts. We already ship to customers in Asia and can issue English inspection certificates, SDS and shipping documents.
